AMELIA'S STORY
BIO
Emancipated at 16, serving 4 years in the US Navy, and representing Team USA around the world are just a glimpse at what has driven Amelia to never be denied. Grit and gumption personified, Amelia’s passion for life radiates through her words and inspires just about everyone she reaches.
Establishing her Perseverance Tour in 2022, aimed at connecting with middle and high school youth in rural and under privileged areas. Amelia opens the dialogue on the unspoken actualities youth face using real life story telling and question and answer sessions. Providing space for honest conversation on the reality of broken homes, little means and finding the Perseverance through and into life at a time when its often out of their control.
Beat the odds and passing the torch is at the core of Amelia’s heart, and in 2015 she launched the Thomas Langley Sr Boxing Foundation (after the passing of her longtime coach); dedicated to building champion athletes and champion citizens.
